NEMO begins a series of videos profiling the work of Sub-Committees within the national emergency management structure, with a look at the work of the Ministry of National Mobilisation.
Mrs. Merissa Finch-Burke, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Mobilisation Social Development and Postal Services explains the role of the ministry as one of the nine Sub-Committees within the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) structure. This forms part of the national disaster response and recovery mechanism in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, following the impact of an event such as Hurricane Beryl.
