The Flash-flood watch has been upgraded to a Flash-flood warning as a trough system continues to affect Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Expect pockets of moderate to heavy showers with gusty conditions across the island tonight. Chance of isolated thunderstorms increases as the night progresses. This instability is forecast to continue during Monday morning. Model guidance is indicating rainfall amounts of 50mm (approximately 2 inches) with isolated higher amounts in mountainous areas possible during the next 18 hours.
The flash-flood warning will be in effect until 12:00 Noon, Monday 18th, November 2024.
Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be prepared.
A Flood-Warning is issued when flooding is imminent or is already occurring.
