The Atlantic High Pressure System will continue to be the dominate feature across our islands. Patches of low level clouds moving along an easterly wind flow are likely to produce occasionally cloudy skies and few brief showers during the next 24 hours.

Thereafter, a tropical wave presently located near 48 degrees west latitude (800 miles east of St. Vincent and the Grenadines), is expected across our area by late Friday into Saturday. Due to a dry and stable mid to upper level atmosphere, only some scattered showers is anticipated.

Easterly trade winds ranging between 20 km/h to 35 km/h should continue during the forecast period.

Slight to moderate easterly sea swells are expected with swells peaking near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet)

Analysis also suggests a layer of Saharan dust haze moving into the area by late Saturday.
