NEMO URGES COASTAL RESIDENTS TO BE VIGILANT AND PREPARED FOR POSSIBLE STORM SURGE AND ISOLATED POCKETS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
Hurricane Irma is now a category five dangerous hurricane. According to information from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services, at 11 am today, Hurricane Irma was located near 16.8°N....58.4°W or about 230 miles East of the Leeward Islands and is moving westward at 14 mph. Maximum sustained winds are now 180 mph.
