On Thursday 14th November 2024, NEMO shared emergency management and monitoring information with over 100 persons at the National Science and Technology Fair 2024 , which was held at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall under the theme "Sustainability - Securing a Brighter Future for SVG".

The NEMO display was dubbed "Monitoring Hazards; Building a Safer SVG". Participants received pamphlets and other material on natural hazard and emergency management. They also observed demonstrations of Seismic monitoring techniques such as Gas Sampling, Ground Deformation and Seismo-meters by members of the Soufriere Monitoring Unit. Radio Communication was also highlighted, and students had the opportunity to test our Emergency Communications Network, which provides island wide coverage for community and public service entities.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) has officially taken possession of its newly retrofitted and expanded warehouse facility following a handing-over ceremony held in Campden Park on Wednesday January 7, 2026
The facility, located within the South Leeward constituency, was upgraded under the Volcanic Eruption Emergency Project and funded through a loan from the World Bank, administered by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. The project was executed by Gibson's Construction Limited, with design and supervisory services provided by Stewart Engineering Limited.

On Tuesday 2nd December 2025 the UK based National Oceanography Centre, UWI Seismic Research Center and NEMO SVG hosted a one day workshop on Coastal and Ocean Impacts of Lahars at the UWI Global Campus in Kingstown St.Vincent.
