A high pressure system will continue to be the dominant feature across the islands during the next 24-36 hours. Occasional cloudy skies, hazy atmospheric conditions and a few scattered showers can be expected.

Meanwhile, a tropical wave located over the Central Atlantic is moving westward near 12-17 mph. This wave is expected to produce an increase in cloudiness and showers across the islands by Sunday.

Additionally, another tropical wave is located over the Eastern Atlantic. Some slow development is possible over the next several days while the system moves westward or west- northwestward near 12 mph.
