A Tropical wave continues to affect our islands tonight, mid to upper level moisture is expected to increase as a shearline moves into the area enhancing showers. Behind the topical wave, a wind surge of 37-55 km/h (20 to 30 knots) is expected to push moderate to heavy showers, and isolated thunderstorms across our islands tonight.
By tomorrow Thursday, activity associated with the I.T.C.Z is expected to move northward increasing instability. Occasional cloudy skies with moderate to heavy scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms could continue until Friday with a reduction in showers by Saturday.
Moderate seas (1.2-1.8m) on the west could increase overnight becoming moderate to rough seas(1.8-2.5m) across St. Vincent and the Grenadines during early morning. Expect seas to retreat by Thursday afternoon to 1.2-1.8m. By Friday, west coasts can expect slight to moderate (0.6-1.2m) seas as normal.
The next Tropical wave is expected in our vicinity by late Saturday into Sunday, however Sahara dust is also expected which could hinder shower activity.
