NEMO TO HOST COUNTRY WORK PROGRAMME PERFORMANCE MONITORING FRAMEWORK WORKSHOP – FEBRUARY 17-18, 2020

 

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) with the support of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) will host a two day Country Work Programme Performance Monitoring Framework Workshop.

This workshop is a follow-up to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Country Work Programme Workshop held in January, 2020 and targets Senior Civil Servants, members of the Private Sector and Non-Governmental Organizations.  

The main objectives of the workshop are to:

  • Finalize and validate the Logical Framework Analysis for the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Country Work Programme (CWP);
  • Enhance and validate the Performance Monitoring Framework (PMF);
  • Agree on the next steps to inform the finalization of the CWP documentation, including the technical annexes.

 

The workshop will take place on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th February, 2020 at NEMO’s Conference Room commencing at 8:30 a.m.

The Country Work Programme (CWP) Workshop 2020-2024 for St. Vincent and the Grenadines was held on January 16, 2020. The main aim of the workshop was to finalize programmes and a plan of action to implement the national and regional priorities of the Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM) Strategy, the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and to ensure that the Sustainable Development Goals and the National Economic and Social Development Plan of St. Vincent and the Grenadines 2013 – 2025 are incorporated into the Country Work Programme.
