A FLOOD-WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES
Flood Warning Issued by the Meteorological Services.
Residents especially in the Grenadines, especially Bequia are asked to exercise caution as already saturated soils and blocked drains can result in landslides and flooding once heavy rains continue.
The National Emergency Management Organisation is also advising all to closely monitor Tropical Storm Irma which was formed in the Atlantic this morning, as an unusual trajectory is already forecasted. We are now in the peak of the hurricane season and we continue to urge all residents to be prepared.
